PHOTONIS HOLDING SAS announces the founding of DEP imaging GmbH in Switzerland
Mérignac, March 23rd 2010 – PHOTONIS is a multinational high-technology group, with more than 40 years experience in manufacturing, sales and innovation in the field of sensor technology for night vision, industrial and scientific markets. PHOTONIS Holding, the parent company of the Group, announced today the founding of a new separate subsidiary, DEP imaging GmbH, incorporated in Widnau, Switzerland.
DEP imaging’s principal mission is to design and produce a new range of digital sensor camera modules for night vision applications, aimed at Soldier Modernization Programs and battlefield digitization.
“We are delighted to offer next generation, highly advanced digital modules for our OEM customers” said Goossen Boers, CEO of PHOTONIS. “Using Photonis’ range of low light level detectors, DEP imaging will design and manufacture multi-sensor digital modules for applications such as the next generation of dismounted soldier opto-electronic equipment and vehicle platform cameras”.
